My name is Nate Paxton and I’ve been blessed to play Division 1 football at Georgia State University as well as coach there for 4 seasons. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor of Hospitality. I then earned my master’s degree in Health and Physical Education. As a player I was a walk on who earned a full scholarship my junior year. I was able to earn this while battling over and homelessness with my family. Once earning my scholarship I was selected as a team captain two years in a row, nominated & runner up for the Wilma Rudolph Award, multiple academic awards, All conference academically, and helped take Georgia State to first bowl game in school history. I was able to finish my college career with 2 rings. Helping my university to appear in and win their first bowl games in school history. After college I was able to get NFL opportunities to workout w/ the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks , a few CFL minicamps opportunities, played in Shenzhen China where I earned a gold medal, played in the AAL for the Georgia Doom where I led my team in sacks & TFLs, then finally finished my playing career in the IFL playing arena football where I was one of the league leaders in fumbles & TFLs . With everything I’ve overcome as far as homelessness, poverty, my father and sister passing, etc. I have to give credit to GOD for where I’m at today. I’m a hall of famer at my high school and had my jersey retired at my hometown gym. Today I get the opportunity to help mentor and guide young athletes in life but also I help high school and transferring college athletes find a home in recruiting. I’ve helped well over a 4500+ families earn scholarships and generated over $24+ million in scholarship money. I’ve recently launched my non profit in 2023, Just In The Nick Of Time Inc., which sole purpose is to mentor and guide student athletes who don’t have the resources to get proper exposure to college opportunities and to create a bridge for them to graduate & become a professional in life not just sports.  Outside of that I’ve even created a book called The ABC’s of Recruiting to help give families and their student athletes the principles and marching orders it takes to win in this process. My goal is to help everyone I encounter challenge their current perspective and shift from survival mindset to thrival. Honoring GOD and serving people are two of my biggest goals in life. I pray people encounter GOD when I’m in their presence and I help stir up the faith inside of everyone who meets me.
