In Five Seasons as Offensive Coordinator at UNW, he produced 2 Conference Championships, 2 NCAA playoff appearances, 23 All-Conference players on Offense, 9 All-Americans, 2 Conference Players of year, and 10 PROGRAM RECORDS BROKEN: Single game passing yards (466yds), Single game reception yards (289 YDS, 222 YDS, and 204 YDS), Single Game passing TD’s (6 TDs), Points scored in a game (69 points), Single Season Receiving yards (1,250 yards), Pass Completion Percentage in season (66% overall and 71% completion In-Conference Games), Completions in a season (180), and Rushing yards in a season (1334 yards).
As Quarterback Coach at UNW, Boomer developed Junior Stand-Out, Caden Cantrell, earning 1st Team All-Conference awards in his first first three years of Quarterback at UNW. Caden earned NCCAA All-American honors in 2024. Caden has helped lead UNW's success to 2 Conference titles in the past three years and 2 NCAA playoff appearances (extending Northwestern's historical NCAA playoff appearance to 3 times in program history).
In 2024, UNW's offense ranked 1st in their conference in the Majority of offensive categories: Points per game (40.1), Most points scored in a game (69 points), Yards per game (430.7), Passing Yards per game (251.7 yards), First Downs per Game (21.7), 3rd Down Conversions, Red Zone Efficiency (90.6% - 3 missed field goals), Passing Yards in a season (2,531), Yards per Play (7.3), Completion Percentage (71%), Yards per completion (10.4 YDS), and Offensive Efficiency (185.9).
In 2024 All-American Sivert Klefsaas earned 1,334 rushing yards (4th in NCAA), In 2023 All-American Wide Receiver, Beau Burke brought in 1,250 receiving yards (3rd in NCAA), and In 2022, All-American Tight End caught 74 receptions (2nd in NCAA).
Boomer's offense has produced Top 25 rankings in multiple facets at the NCAA Division 3 level: Passing efficiency, completion percentage, yards per completion, yards per pass attempt, and Red Zone efficiency.
Roepke started his coaching path at the University of Southern California, where he earned varsity letters in both Swimming and Football at USC. A walk-on punter turned cornerback, he had the distinguished honor to play for both Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin. After graduating undergrad, Coach Boomer earned his MBA at USC, while excelling as a Graduate Student Coach with the football team. Through the transitions with Lane Kiffin, Ed Orgeron, Steve Sarkisian, and Clay Helton, Coach Boomer was able to learn from multiple schematic innovators and leaders. During Roepke’s time with USC, he assisted with QB's and WR's, working closely with quarterback Sam Darnold (Minnesota Vikings) and wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster (KC Chiefs). Coach Boomer earned a Bachelors in Communication and a Masters in Business Administration during his time at USC.
Following his time as the Quarterback/Wide Receiver Graduate Student Coach at USC, Roepke went on to be the Wide Receiver Coach/Special Coordinator for Pasadena Community College in 2016.
Boomer then traveled the country for six months in his VW Westfalia, visiting 74 Universities, in pursuit of a Graduate Assistant role. It led him to Iowa State University from '17-19 where he served in multiple positions with the special teams and quarterbacks, particularly with Brock Purdy's recruitment process and development in Brock's Freshmen and Sophomore year.
A Native of Southern California, Roepke moved to Reno, Nevada and attended Reno High School. In his time at Reno High, Coach Boomer was a four-year All-American in swimming, two-year All-State football player, and led the way in a leadership role as the Student Body President his senior year. He has 13 years of coaching experience.
