My name is Kevin Maurice, and I’ve spent more than two decades of my life in and around this game—as a player, a coach, a mentor, and a lifelong student of football and leadership. I currently serve as a college football coach, working primarily with running backs and recruiting, but at the heart of what I do is something bigger than plays, stats, or depth charts: helping young men grow into disciplined, confident, and grounded leaders in life.

I grew up in Miami in a Haitian-American family where faith, hard work, and resilience weren’t slogans—they were survival tools. That upbringing shaped how I coach and how I treat people. Whether I’m in a meeting room, on the practice field, on the road recruiting, or talking with a parent, I try to bring honesty, consistency, and genuine care to every interaction. My goal is always the same: build real relationships, tell the truth with love, and help people get a little better every day.

If you’re a prospective student-athlete or parent, I want you to know this: I see you as more than a number or a highlight tape. I care about your character, your academics, your family story, and your future after football. This game can open doors and create lifelong memories, but it’s who you become through the process that matters most. I’m passionate about creating environments where players are pushed, supported, and held to a high standard—on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.

This profession has given me incredible mentors and opportunities, and I believe strongly in paying that forward—whether that’s swapping film, talking culture and scheme, or just checking in on life.
