Before coaching, I was an underachieving lackadaisical high school student whose only highlights of my football career was getting two assisted tackles as a sub-package Inside Linebacker when I was a Junior playing on JV before I enlisted in the U.S. Marines and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant.

Having experienced both sides of the work ethic scale, leadership, trust, success/failure I thoroughly enjoy the competition and team oriented nature of football while seeking to be a positive role model, guide, and leader to those I am fortunate enough to work with.

I'm intentional about approaching coaching with the mindset of an educator first that communicates directly and explicitly.
