I just finished my first season as a defensive student assistant for the Tarleton Football team. Tyrone Nix emphasized the importance of ensuring that everyone worked hard not only on the field but also off it and maintaining integrity. I have adopted those same qualities, but my philosophy is based on my upbringing. I come from a blue-collar family, and I plan to bring that blue-collar mentality to your program. The blue-collar mentality consists of having integrity, being the hardest worker in the room, and working together to win championships. Do it to the best of your ability, no matter what your role is. Even if someone starts slacking, hold them accountable and lift them to be all they're meant to be.
